    Slime Care 101

    Have you had issues with your slime? Is it too sticky? Is it hard and brittle? Has your slime gotten stuck where it doesn’t belong like the couch, the floor, or your hair? We have solutions for you!

    My Slime is too sticky
    • Add a few drops of slime activator and mix well. Be careful as too much will cause the slime to separate, and you must throw it out.
    My slime is too hard and not stretchy
    • Add a few drops of baby oil or lotion and mix well. Add more as needed.
    My slime won’t hold in mix-ins!
    • Add a few drops of baby oil or lotion and mix well. Add more as needed.
    • You can also mix with another slime that is more stretchy
    Someone/My Pet at some slime, is it safe?
    • Our slime is generally safe and not poisonous. However, it would depend on the amount ingested which could cause stomach/intestinal issues. It is best to seek medical attention if there is a concern.
    How to Fix Your Slime Oops!

    Sometimes while having a good time with your favorite slime messes can happen. Your slime ends up attaching itself to something, or someone it wasn’t meant to be stuck on. Don’t fret we have solutions for you!

    Oops, it is in my carpet, my clothing, or my Fabric furniture!
    • Using slime activator and a soft brush to scrub the slime off the fabric. Repeat if necessary
    For Stubborn Fabric Slime Dye Stains:
    • White vinegar and water (3 parts water, 1 part vinegar). Add solution to fabric and then blot with cloth to remove dye then wash with laundry detergent.
    For Stubborn Hard Surface Slime Stains:
    • White vinegar and water (3 parts water, 1 part vinegar). Add solution to area and then rub with sponge or cloth.
    • Apply laundry detergent and water with cloth, rub/blot to remove
    • Water only with cloth to remove rest of dye.
    Oops, it’s in my hair!
    • Soak slimy hair in hot water, and comb through with your fingers. For stubborn slime, rub some baby oil on the hair or mix with hot water and comb out. Finally, wash hair with shampoo.
